what we SHOULd look like:

OUR CONFLICT

   We have a VERY big problem, our problem is about catalogs, and lots and lots of them. Reaserch shows that about 5 billion catalogs get sent out whether you want them, or not. Truth is, only about 2% of the people in the whole United States accually order from the un-solicited catalogs that they get.Imagine all those catalogs that get thrown away!!!!!!!! Not only does that kill our trees, it uses up enough energy to power a house for one year, it uses up a BUNCH of water, and it creates pollution, which causes global warming.

How This All Started

In our 4th grade class this year we were trying to come up with an earth day project.

Everyone in the school had come up with there's... Everyone except our class, Mrs.Monroys class. Mrs.Monroy, Our teacher decided to do this thing were we collect catalogs and then cancel them. Sounds kind of weird huh! Well your wrong because that was very smart.How we cancel them is first we have to collect them. 2 you have to call the company &  then you ask them. Our teacher is extremely smart and awesome and because of her we could prevent global warming because every time you cancel 60 catalogs you save 1 tree.

Save The Earth

There are many, many, many  catalogs around the world.Most of them aren't asked for therefore most of them are being throne away. Truth is there are about 5 billion catalogs sent out but only 2 percent of the people in the united states actually order from them. Think about it  5 billion catalogs going to waste. That is not only a waste of paper but also  wasting our drinking water. The thing about catalogs is that people make them so that they can't be recycled. Our Canceling Catalogs Challenge will stop catalogs from coming to the people that don't want them to come. Our canceling catalogs challenge will            prevent global warming.
